Portsmouth's Piscataqua Bank To Hold Grand Re-Opening
Piscataqua Savings Bank on Pleasant Street in Portsmouth will hold a grand re-opening after renovations.
PORTSMOUTH, NH — The Piscataqua Savings Bank in Portsmouth will hold a grand re-opening event next week after undergoing several renovations. Mayor Jack Blalock will lead a ribbon cutting ceremony and the public will be welcome to tour the new space. The grand re-opening will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26.
After the ribbon is cut, those in attendance will tour the facility and be offered refreshments and giveaways. According to Piscataqua Savings Bank, the renovations have been about 10 years in the making. The project aimed to improve customer experience. Construction took place in a series of phases in the past 20 months and were completed last month, according to the bank.
According to Piscataqua Savings Bank President and CEO Rick Wallis, the renovations balance 21st-century architectural and technological innovation with 19th-century tradition.

"Though we've improved our ability to deliver services and meet the needs of people today and in the future, we still share the traditions we were founded on more than 140 years ago," said Wallis.
