Rochester Crash Involves Car Hitting Pedestrian
Farmington Road was closed while police investigated an accident where a pedestrian was struck by a Rochester man driving a car.

ROCHESTER, NH — On Saturday at approximately 8:55 p.m. Rochester police, firefighters, and Frisbie EMS responded to Farmington Road by Crane Drive for the report of a motor vehicle collision in which a pedestrian had been struck. Emergency personnel arrived on scene to find one vehicle with heavy front end damage and one pedestrian in the roadway. The preliminary investigation revealed that a Rochester man was operating a Nissan Versa traveling south on Farmington Road when he struck a pedestrian.
The pedestrian’s name is not being released at this time. The pedestrian was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with life threatening injuries.
The Strafford County Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team was activated and responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. As a result, Farmington Road was shut down for approximately three hours.
