Spaulding Turnpike Blasting to Delay Traffic in Newington, Portsmouth

Blasting work associated with the Spaulding Turnpike widening project in Newington will resume between Exit 1 and Exit 3 and motorists should expect some delays.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation on June 16 announced the blasting activity will take place for a few days at various times between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Northbound and southbound traffic on the Spaulding Turnpike will be kept out of the blast zone via State Police rolling road blocks.
