3rd Annual Windham Youth Wrestling Camp

WHS Wrestling coaches and wrestlers will offer a four day camp this summer at Windham High School.

The Windham High School wrestling staff will host a 4-day youth wrestling camp June 22-25 (M-Th) for students entering grades K-9 (pre-K wrestlers also welcome at parent/coach discretion). Designed for all levels of experience, the camp will focus on wrestling skills as well as sportsmanship, teamwork, nutrition, and proper training methods.

Members of the 3x state champion WHS wrestling team will be at camp. Our high school wrestlers are great role models for the younger kids and campers will receive personal tips, personal letters home, and other cool gifts from their counselors.

We are trying to create a camp atmosphere that will be beneficial for a wide range of ages and experience levels. Intense/experienced wrestlers can get pushed to the next level, and brand new wrestlers or kids trying off-season wrestling for the first time can have a positive experience that will get them fired up to wrestle next winter.

The cost of camp is only $100 per wrestler, and additional siblings are only $25 each, so bring those curious and crazy younger siblings along! Our biggest goal is to promote wrestling, and any time Windham or other towns can get full families of 2, 3, 4+ siblings into the sport, it’s a good thing for our teams long-term. So, for those signing up an older sibling, please know that the whole crew is welcome to try it out.

The brochure is attached here, and we are here to answer any questions.
