5 Things To Know In Salem: Trump Rally, 'Movie Under Stars'
Residents are invited to a "movie under the stars,' and Trump will have a rally in Manchester. Here are Salem's 5 things to know this week.
SALEM, NH — President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden will hold opposing rallies in nearby Manchester this week as they campaign for the 2020 presidential election. Another presidential candidate, Seth Moulton, will be in nearby Windham. Also, detours are in place on a Salem road. Here are the top five things to know in Salem this week.
- Trump's rally will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. in Manchester, at Southern New Hampshire University. And Biden will hold a counter rally at the Portland Pie Company in downtown Manchester at 6 p.m., according to the Union Leader.
- Presidential candidate Seth Moulton will be in nearby Windham this Monday, at the Searles School & Chapel. See the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce for more details.
- A "movie under the stars" is happening at Salem High School this Wednesday, with Lego Movie II on a big screen.
- About 10,000 people are expected to attend the annual Old Home Days in nearby Londonderry, where the town is celebrating a 120th anniversary. The five-day event will have fireworks, hot air balloon rides, parade, food, a carnival, music and more.
- Detours are in place for Depot Road in Salem. Make sure to use caution and plan ahead. The detour map is posted on the town website.
