Attention Pelham Educators,
Interim principal Chris Mazzone was removed as principal of Newmarket Jr./Sr. High School by Superintendent Susan Givens on or about November 1, 2019, and was never reinstated to this position.
RSA 189:31 allows superintendents to remove educators only for cause. As of this date, it’s unknown by many, if not all, why Mr. Mazzone was so removed.

It’s my position, that every educator, parent, and student in the Pelham school district has the right to know what gave superintendent givens cause to remove Mr. Mazzone.
I have reached out to your superintendent, Chip McGee for answers, he has not been helpful. In fact, he is dragging his feet in providing me with documents concerning how and why Mr. Mazzone was hired.

Additionally, as of this day, I have been unable to find any nomination or approval by the Pelham School Board to hire Mr. Mazzone.
Therefore, I am calling upon the educators of Pelham to demand answers. Why was Mr. Mazzone removed from his principalship in Newmarket, and how and why was he hired as interim principal?
