Canobie Lake Park Gets Partial Approval For New Water Park

Report: The popular Salem amusement park is looking to construct Tidal River, a new, nearly 2-acre water feature.

SALEM, NH — Tidal River, a new water feature, may soon be constructed at Canobie Lake Park, according to a story in the New Hampshire Union Leader. The Salem Planning Board, according to the story, gave conditional approval to the nearly 2-acre water park which will feature a floating area, new slides, as well as wave pool and changing rooms. After more approvals, it is expected to be constructed near Castaway, the parks current water park attraction.
