Four Families Displaced in Salem Fire

SALEM, N.H. - Fire Crews were called to Cross Street overnight for an apartment fire that displaced four families.

According to the Salem Fire Dept., crews were called to the apartment late on Wednesday night.

According to the Red Cross, Disaster Action Team volunteers met with the residents and have ensured everyone has a safe place to sleep and has food, clothing and other essentials.

Over the next several days, Red Cross client casework volunteers will stay in contact with the family and provide referrals, as they begin their road to recovery, they said.
