Interstate 93 Construction Updates

Construction activity on the I-93 Salem to Manchester Corridor will impact traffic in several areas.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation wants residents to know that there is more work associated with the construction on Interstate 93.

Major traffic shifts on will begin on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. on NH 111, according to the NHDOT. Traffic will be shifted from the existing roadway onto the newly constructed roadway. Additionally, on Tuesday traffic will begin using the new northbound on-ramp, located across from the Exit 3 northbound off-ramp, according to the NHDOT.

Furthermore, the southbound on- and off-ramps and the northbound off-ramp will have traffic pattern changes to new or temporary configurations in order to accommodate the traffic to the new NH 111 configuration.

Some of the construction is dependent on weather. According to the NHDOT, the work could be delayed depending upon the weather.
