SALEM, NH — Next weekend, Tuscan Kitchen in Salem will team up with Phantom Gourmet as it hosts the second Italian Wine & Food Fest, celebrating made-from-scratch Italian foods and regional wines. Thousands of people from all over New England are expected to attend this tented al fresco event, taking place Saturday, June 22, at the Tuscan Piazza.

Tuscan Brands' founder Joe Faro and the Andelman Brothers will be hosts at the event. Michael Dutra will moonlight as Frank Sinatra, singing hits from the Sultan of Swoon's massive library. Those in attendance will sample more than 15 of Tuscan Kitchen's Italian street food — arancini, prochetta, meatball sliders, housemade gelato and more. More than 30 Italian wines and beers will be available for enjoyment. And those with a competitive side can challenge other evengoers to a game of bocce hosted on dueling courts.

The event will take place in two daytime sessions — from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $30-$50 and include admission, food and wine sampling. The event is for patrons ages 21 and older. Tuscan Piazza is located between the Tuscan Kitchen and the Tuscan Market, at 63-67 Main St., Salem.
