Shaheen's New TV Ad Touts Jobs, I-93 Widening

The ad also cites work to widening Interstate 93 "to ease the commute."

U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) has a new campaign television ad that focuses on jobs.

The 30-second ad began airing May 28.

"Jeanne Shaheen‘s leadership brings people together around common sense solutions, breaking gridlock to get things done," said Campaign Manager Mike Vlacich. "As our Senator, she's fought for the Manchester Job Corps Center, Portsmouth's Memorial Bridge, widening of I-93, and to open the Berlin Prison to create jobs and strengthen our economy."

Vlacich, as the campaign announced the new ad, also noted Shaheen's "deep roots here," perhaps a subtle reference to one of the Republicans running for U.S. Senate.

Berlin Mayor Paul Grenier, Mike Cook of North Hampton, Mary Carey Foley of Portsmouth and Paul O'Connor, a Portsmouth Naval Shipyard worker, are among those featured in the ad.
