SALEM, NH — Vice President Mike Pence will be in Salem Tuesday as he visits Granite Recovery Centers on Manor Park Way. Pence is scheduled to speak about the opioid crisis facing the region and the illegal drug flow in New Hampshire. His appearance at the Salem recovery centers is scheduled for early afternoon.
Pence's Air Force Two is expected to first arrive to the Manchester Boston Regional Airport, where Pence will visit New Hampshire's largest city. His arrival to Manchester is scheduled for 11:25 a.m.
Then, the vice president will head to Salem to participate in a roundtable discussion with former patients and alumni at the Granite Recovery Center headquarters. After that, Pence will deliver remarks on the opioid crisis and the illegal flow of drugs into the Granite State. His remarks are scheduled for 1 p.m. He is then expected to return to Washington, D.C., in the evening.
