Rockingham County College Students Record Academic Achievements
Students in Exeter, Hampton, Londonderry, North Hampton, Portsmouth, Salem, and Windham were honored with academic achievements recently.
Roughly 1,000 students were named to the Fall 2019 Dean's List at Curry College. The following local students made the list:
Brendan Bedell, of Londonderry, a Business Administration major and member of the Class of 2023.
Ryan O'Donnell, of Londonderry, a Psychology major and member of the Class of 2021.

Teylah Ford, of Londonderry, a Biology major and member of the Class of 2020.
Samantha Luongo, of Londonderry, a Nursing major and member of the Class of 2020.

Skylar Roy, of Londonderry, a Nursing major and member of the Class of 2020.
Anna Gourgeot of North Hampton, a member of the Class of 2023 and is majoring in Nursing.
Linds Veilleux of Portsmouth, a member of the Class of 2023 and is majoring in Psychology.
To earn a place on the list, full-time undergraduate students - those who carry 12 or more graded credits per semester - must earn a 3.3 grade-point-average (GPA) or higher.
Michael Penna, of Exeter, was named to the Canisius College Dean's List for the fall 2019 semester. Penna is one of more than 1,100 Canisius College undergraduate students named to the fall 2019 Dean's List. To qualify, students must have attained a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the semester and completed at least four courses of three credits or equivalent. Penna is from the Canisius Class of 2022 and pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice.
Tufts University recently announced the dean's list for the Fall 2019 semester. Among students earning dean's list honors are:
- Emma Wellington of Brentwood.
- Conor Moriarty of Exeter.
- Zack Rummler of Hampton.
- Andrew Holden of North Hampton.
- Caroline Hayes of Londonderry.
- Andrew Rodgers of Portsmouth.
- Zachary Greenspan of Portsmouth.
- Abi Wool of Portsmouth.
Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
Anna Hess, of Portsmouth, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus in Madison, NJ, has been named to the Honors List for the Fall 2019 semester. To qualify for the Honors List, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).
Cassandra Lira of Salem, a member of the class of 2021 majoring in aerospace engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense, hands-on research project through the WPI project center in Cape Town, South Africa. The project was titled Evaluating the Cape Town Street People Policy. In their project summary, the students wrote, "Cape Town is facing a homelessness crisis driven by high unemployment and a shortage of housing. This project explores the City's approaches to resolving homelessness, specifically the 2013 Street People Policy and its associated bylaws.
Jason Domogala of Windham earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Fall 2019 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Ethan Guglielmo of Hampton earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Fall 2019 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 4.0 academic average for the semester.
Hannah Wood of Portsmouth made the Dean's List for the Fall 2019 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Urvi Chakraborty of Londonderry made the Dean's List for the Fall 2019 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.
Brian Maurice Leclair of Londonderry has been named to the President's List at Western New England University for the Fall Semester 2019. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher. Leclair is exploring a degree in Engineering.
Western New England University congratulates more than 730 students named to the Fall 2019 Dean's List:
- Kaitlyn M. Marchant of Londonderry is working toward a BA in Psychology.
- Cameron J Donovan of Londonderry is working toward a BSE in Biomedical Engineering.
- MacKenzie Svenson of Salem is working toward a Pre-Pharmacy degree.
Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.
Michael Clements of Brentwood, a member of the class of 2021 majoring in computer science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense, hands-on research project through the WPI project center in Albania. The project was titled Reconstructing the SPAC Prison.
