Salem Chamber Graduates Community Business Leaders

The Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce recently honored business professionals from its Leadership Southern New Hampshire program.

SALEM, NH — The Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce recently recognized graduates of its Leadership Southern New Hampshire program, an in-depth program aimed at developing business professionals into community leaders. Over the past six months, participants met for full-day sessions once a month and explored various facets of the local community. They met with influential leaders and examined their future community leadership roles, according to the Chamber.

"We have almost 500 businesses in our Chamber," said Chamber President Donna Morris. "Many of them are employing the next generation of business and community leaders. This program was designed to prepare the participants for leadership roles in the Greater Salem community. I am very impressed with this year's class! They were eager to learn, asked great questions, and provided unique perspectives. I am certain these folks will continue to demonstrate their strong commitment to southern New Hampshire."

The graduation ceremony took place June 26 at the Chamber's Business After Hours held in the new Castaway Island water park at Canobie Lake Park. Gov. Chris Sununu was among those in attendance and presented plaques to the graduates.
