Salem High School’s Seniors of the Month Announced

Salem High School recently announced their Seniors of the Month.

SALEM, NH - Salem High School recently release its 2018 list of Seniors of the Month. Check them out below:

January- Jamie Mastrogiacomo

Jamie participates in many clubs and activities both at Salem High and in the community. She is currently the National Honor Society President, an SHS Actors’ Guild publicist and the Guild’s stage manager, and the Team Captain of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Jamie plans to attend Smith College in the Fall of 2018, where she hopes to study English or History. Her goal is to become a writer or work in the publishing world. Jamie plans to stay very involved with theater throughout her college years as well.

February- Gabriella Palermo

Gabriella is currently a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, and is a team member of the Junior Olympic Competitive Gymnastics team. She plans to attend a four-year university and major in Biochemistry. Gabriella hopes to one day have a career in the biomedical science field.

March- Nicholas Karantonis

Nicholas is a member of Salem High School’s Student Council and is the Treasurer of the class of 2018. Outside of Salem High Nicholas is President of the Keystone Club and is currently one of the nominees for National Youth of the Year. After high school Nicholas plans to study at Wentworth or Western New England University to major in Biomedical Engineering.

April- Chloe Desjardins

Chloe is involved many activities both in and outside of Salem High School. She is a member of Student Council, Class Council, Key Club, and National Honor Society. Chloe also participates in FBLA at Salem High School, is an International Red Star Baton Twirler, and a Salem High School Feature Twirler. Chloe plans on attending a University where she can study Business Marketing. She is very passionate about Marketing and looks forward to what a career in the field might bring.

May- Meiyi Chong

Meiyi is currently a member of Skills USA. She has also started the Salem High School UNICEF Club. Meiyi creates films for other clubs, such as Key Club as well as other Departments at SHS to share an idea or message that they would like to get out to the school and the community. Meiyi will be attending Emerson College in the fall and will be studying Film Productions. She plans to pursue a career in film or video media production and would like to bring more meaning to the world of film.
