Salem Police: Bristol Man Arrested On Drug Charges
Police arrested a Bristol man on drug and gun charges this week after stopping his car last month, netting cocaine, LSD and heroin/fentanyl.

SALEM, N.H. - Police arrested a Bristol man on drug and gun charges this week after stopping his car last month, netting varying amounts of heroin/fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and LSD.
According to Salem Police, officers pulled over a 2007 Subaru Impreza on Apr. 13. While speaking with the occupants police said they noticed a handgun protruding from beneath the driver's seat.
Police said the occupants, who gave conflicting accounts of where they were coming from, were questioned about the handgun and both denied any knowledge of its existence in the vehicle.

Police towed the vehicle and applied for a search warrant, which was later granted. Inside, police found an undisclosed quantity of numerous controlled drugs to include heroin/fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and LSD as well as scales and other paraphernalia used in the measurement and ingestion of narcotics.
On May 6, Bristol police arrested Trevor Redman, 23, of Bristol, N.H. and turned over to the custody of Salem Police. He was charged with four counts possession of a controlled drug, transporting drugs, breach of bail for an open case in Bristol, NH and operating vehicle with a suspended registration.

Redman was held overnight on $2,500 cash bail and was scheduled to be arraigned on May 7 at Rockingham County Superior Court.
"This was a great job by Salem Officers to take this quantity of narcotics and a firearm off the
street," Salem Police said in a statement.
