A police chase, loud music and several shoplifting incidents were among items reported in the Salem police log June 28-July 4.
SALEM, NH — The following items were selected from the Salem police log for June 28 to July 4. Arrests do not indicate guilt. The names of any minors have been omitted.
Friday, June 28
7:11 a.m. — A bus company reports a possible water main break in the depot. It's a very minor leak, not a hazard at this time.

9:07 a.m. — A suspect was arrested by Kensington police on a Salem police warrant.
11:36 a.m. — Samuel Jacob Justice, 37, of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, is charged with two counts of theft by deception with value of more than $1,500 and two counts of forgery.

1:09 p.m. — Derrian L. Regan, 25, of Pascoag, Rhode Island, is charged with possession of less than one ounce of cocaine.
2:04 p.m. — Kyle G. Avery, 28, of Laconia, is arrested on a bench warrant.
4:32 p.m. — Sheayna Lee Smit, 37, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, is charged with willful concealment.
6:54 p.m. — Someone reports being side-swiped on the parkway and the other driver fleeing the scene.
10:28 p.m. — Several vehicles are seen at the library. It's people playing Pokemon.
11:47 p.m. — Phone hacking is reported.
Saturday, June 29
7:30 a.m. — Police see a woman walking in the roadway on South Broadway Street. An officer give her a ride to the bus station.
2:12 p.m. — Merchandise is reportedly stolen from Victoria's Secret.
2:34 p.m. — A man asks someone to call 911 after getting into an argument with occupants of another vehicle at Millville and Bluff streets. A second 911 caller reports the same vehicle, last seen in the area of Kashmir Drive. The caller follows the vehicle to Dwight Avenue before losing sight of it.
7:12 p.m. — A woman wants her boyfriend to leave, he has been drinking. Police stand by while he waits for a ride.
7:25 p.m. — A Honda and a Ford F250 collide at Taco Bell. No injuries.
7:41 p.m. — A woman's iPhone was reportedly stolen from the mall and it now shows it's in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
8:05 p.m. — On Smokers Lane, a group of teenage girls is moved along.
8:26 p.m. — Ysacar Espinal, 47, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, is arrested on willful concealment and theft detection device remover charges.
9 p.m. — Fireworks are reported on North Main Street.
10:16 p.m. — Pelham police say a vehicle with no lights on is heading toward Salem. The driver is then stopped in Pelham by Pelham officers.
Sunday, June 30
7:56 a.m. — Robert Joseph Demaio, 39, of Salem, is charged with domestic violence simple assault.
11:24 a.m. — Officials respond to a call regarding a possible child birth on Brook Road. Police assist the Fire Department, there is a transport to Holy Family Hospital.
6:28 p.m. — Someone drives a vehicle into a street sign near M&N Borderline Discount on South Broadway Street. No injuries. Two signs are down.
6:47 p.m. — Two vehicles collide on Pelham Road near Interstate 93. No injuries.
7:19 p.m. — At Walmart, a suspected shoplifter does not stop for Loss Prevention. She puts the merchandise in a vehicle and walks toward Wendy's.
8:29 p.m. — Fireworks are reported in the area of Old Coach Road.
8:35 p.m. — A disabled truck sits on the side of the Stantwood Road, the driver waits for a tow.
9:59 p.m. — Wires are down on Sylvan Drive. Comcast is notified.
Monday, July 1
1:40 p.m. — Selena Theresa Luna, 21, of Lowell, Massachusetts, Shyana Lolores, 24, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, and Olivia I. Saez, 23, of Lowell, were charged with willful concealment, endangering welfare of a child and and theft detection device remover. Saez was also charged with making a false report of law enforcement.
3:19 p.m. — Fire officials respond to the area of Granite Avenue and Main Street to check on an infant after a vehicle accident.
9:39 p.m. — James Edward LaBombard, 43, of Nashua, was charged with bail jumping.
Tuesday, July 2
12:19 a.m. — Police respond to an ambulance call after a caller admits to doing cocaine.
8:01 a.m. — Fire officials respond to a medical emergency at Red Roof Inn.
10:39 a.m. — A car goes off the road and into the woods on Route 111 near Zachary's Crossing Road. No property damage or injuries.
2:19 p.m. — Near Market Basket, an officer is flagged down in regard to a road rage incident.
9:13 p.m. — Near Cluff Road and South Broadway Street, police attempt to stop a red Ford Ranger that is speeding. It ran a stop sign at Lawrence Road and Butler streets and almost hit an officer. It was last seen taking a left on Cluff Road from Lawrence Road. Methuen, Massachusetts, police are notified.
5:31 a.m. — A man with a backpack is seen behind a church in the area of Pleasant Street. He says he lives in the woods in the area.
Wednesday, July 3
7:59 a.m. — An employee on Lowell Road reports that a man who is homeless is staying in one of their campers and won't come out. The man is gone when police arrive.
8:02 a.m. — Joseph Michael Otoole, 48, of Salem, turns himself in on a warrant for charges of reckless operation and making a false report of a vehicle accident.
10:55 a.m. — Near Michael's craft store, Christopher C. Babbin, 27, of Weare, was arrested on a warrant from Candia, after police used GPS to track his location.
12:38 p.m. — Police help the Fire Department after a gas leak. The area of East Broadway Street/Jamil Lane and East Broadway/Shore/Henry Taylor are closed to traffic.
12:55 p.m. — Dylan Eamon Brunetto, 28, of Billerica, Massachusetts, is charged with willful concealment and is arrested on three warrants from another agency.
3:18 p.m. — Emily A. Morin, 28, of Nashua, was charged with willful concealment at Walmart.
6:12 p.m. — Yuleiny Soto De Taveras, 26, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, was charged with willful concealment at Macy's.
8:04 p.m. — Police put out a BOLO for a woman's elderly mother who is missing. She is later located.
9:27 p.m. — Loud fireworks are reported in the area of North Policy Street and Veronica Avenue.
Thursday, July 4
12:27 a.m. — A homeless person takes a rest on Pleasant Street.
8:19 a.m. — In the area of North Broadway Street and Range Road, a vehicle reportedly crosses onto the wrong side of the road and avoids hitting a vehicle, but strikes a street sign. Public works is notified.
10:18 a.m. — Amanda A. Lebel, 35, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, is charged with willful concealment.
10:25 a.m. — Someone's wallet is reportedly stolen after a vehicle break-in at the Rail Trail.
5:52 p.m. — Loud music is reported near Hedgehog Park.
7:24 p.m. — Loud music with bad language is reported on Blake Road.
