Salem Police Log: Police Chase, Dunkin' Donuts Burglary
A multi-agency police pursuit and a suspected Dunkin' Donuts break-in were among items reported in Salem police log for June 19 to June 25.
SALEM, NH — The following items were selected from the Salem police log for the time period of Wednesday, June 19 to Tuesday, June 25. Arrests do not indicate guilt. The names of any minors have been omitted.
Wednesday, June 19
12:05 a.m. — Police give a courtesy ride to a woman who is intoxicated at La Quinta. They drive her to Pelham.
3:19 a.m. — Kevin M. Muiruri, 28, of Lowell, Massachusetts, is charged with bail jumping and is arrested on a bench warrant.
11:06 a.m. — Jahn Carlos Rodriguez, 24, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, was charged with bail jumping and arrested on a bench warrant.

12:58 p.m. — The Fire Department puts sand down after fluid spills in a two-vehicle accident on North Policy Street near Brookdale Road.
4:37 p.m. — Paige Bethany Carroll, 25, of Goffstown, is charged with willful concealment after a shoplifting report at Macy's.

Thursday, June 20
12:51 a.m. — Samuel Vazquez Jr., 20, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, is charged with bail jumping.
1:05 a.m. — After a report of a loud party, Hossein Zarrineghbal, 58, of Salem, is charged with drug/underage alcohol party.
3:50 p.m. — A vehicle reportedly strikes a pole on Shannon Road. A utility company is notified.
4:36 p.m. — An ambulance is called to the Route 93 northbound off-ramp at Exit 2 for a person who is unconscious.
7:35 p.m. — Police pursuit: After a report of possible theft from Best Buy, police approach a man in the parking lot, but he and a woman take off in a silver Honda Accord. The vehicle heads south on Route 28 and officers are unable to catch up to it. Methuen, Massachusetts, police then try to stop the vehicle in their town, but the driver takes off and almost hits their officer. Someone throws needles from the vehicle, and Methuen police pick up those items, Methuen police report. The vehicle then heads north on Route 28 at 75 miles per hour, and Methuen police break their pursuit at the Home Depot. From there, State Police pick up the chase, turning onto a boulevard at 55 to 66 miles per hour and getting onto Interstate 93 north. New Hampshire State Police are notified. The vehicle gets off at Exit 2 and runs a red light on Pelham Road. Then, the vehicle gets back onto the interstate at Exit 2. Milford Police Department is notified of the ongoing pursuit.
8:20 p.m. — Jeffrey Edward Binda, 47, of Salem, is charged with simple assault and domestic violence simple assault.
9:49 p.m. — Nathan S. Holmquist, 42, of Manchester, is charged with theft by deception and breach of bail conditions.
10:11 p.m. — Someone's neighbor reportedly throws eggs at her car.
Friday, June 21
1:54 a.m. — Brian K. Adair, 54, of Ashland, is charged with bail jumping and is arrested on a bench warrant.
3:36 a.m. — A suspected burglary is reported at Dunkin' Donuts on North Broadway Street. An employee reports that the door was broken into and money is missing.
6:13 a.m. — At Red Roof Inn, Joshua Michael Rashed, 45, of Salem, is arrested on a warrant from an outside agency.
12:05 p.m. — James G. Spinney, 63, of Pelham, is charged with DUI.
1:18 p.m. — A vehicle is reportedly struck by a brown Hummer near Walmart.
3:25 p.m. — Luisa Guerrero, 38, of Lowell, Massachusetts, is charged with willful concealment after report of shoplifting at Macy's.
3:32 p.m. — Jesse Michael Delgreco, 31, of Hooksett, is charged with two counts of willful concealment with two prior convictions.
5:19 p.m. — A man with an arrest warrant from Londonderry Police Department reportedly tries to buy a gun at Next Level Firearms. The man leaves before police arrive, saying he will return after getting some money. Police review video surveillance.
6:10 p.m. — Joseph F. Rheault, 27, of Derry, is arrested on a warrant in connection with his reported attempt to buy a firearm.
7:25 p.m. — A caller reports someone hacked her AT&T account and purchased two phones.
8:18 p.m. — At Peter's Farm on Cross Road, a vehicle drives over irrigation pipes on the property and is now stuck.
10:47 p.m. — Ongoing issues with fireworks are reported in the area of Emerson Way and North Main Street.
Saturday, June 22
1:20 a.m. — After a report of a loud party in the area of Brook Road, Joneil Vidal, 20, of Salem, is charged with unlawful possession/intoxication.
2:10 a.m. — A Haverhill Road residents reports hearing what sounded like eight or nine shots being fired behind his house.
2:44 a.m. — Two people call police about fireworks in the area of Emerson Way.
12:13 p.m. — After a Jeep Wrangler is rear-ended on South Broadway Street near Rockingham Park Boulevard, 40-year-old Amy Marie Ferreira of Salem is charged with DUI.
6:26 p.m. — At Canobie Lake, Nicholas Paul Cantin, 39, of Charlstown, Massachusetts, is charged with domestic violence simple assault. Brigitte E. Zuniga Ariza, 23, of Nashua, is charged with domestic violence simple assault and is taken into protective custody.
8:57 p.m. — A fireworks complaint is reported in the Brook Hollow Drive area. A caller says it sounds like explosions.
Sunday, June 23
12:09 a.m. — Someone reports his house being egged by three people on Porcupine Circle.
1:53 a.m. — A caller states that a white van hit a vehicle in a next-door driveway on Lawrence Road. James R. Leblond, 20, of Salem, is charged with DUI, reckless operation and two counts of resisting arrest.
10:13 a.m. — A child on a dirt bike is reportedly speeding down Mason Drive.
10:41 a.m. — William J. Arsenault, 48, of Boston, is charged with drug possession.
12:08 p.m. — Someone is transported to Lawrence General Hospital in Massachusetts after an accident at Exit 1 on Interstate 93 north. The Fire Department and State Police are on scene.
1:09 p.m. — Police receive another complaint about the child on a dirt bike on Mason Drive. An officer speaks with the child.
2:57 p.m. — Someone is transported to Holy Family Hospital after a vehicle strikes a tree head-on in the area of Zion Hill and Shadow Lake roads.
Monday, June 24
7:47 a.m. — A suspect in a Salem case is bailed out in Hampton for a court date in Salem.
2:12 p.m. — Best Buy reports someone was possibly using fake IDs to open accounts in their store. Ebony Braithwaite, 23, of Bronx, New York, is charged with identity fraud and credit card fraud. Davonne Greene, 20, of Mount Vernon, New York, is charged with operating without a valid license and loitering.
Tuesday, June 25
12:55 a.m. — Fire officials are notified after a small brush fire is reported in the area of Pleasant Street. The owner of the property refuses to open the door. The property owner is warned and the fire is extinguished.
2:12 p.m. — Best Buy reports that someone might be using fake IDs to open accounts in their store.
5:26 p.m. — Lauren A. Sweeney, 37, of Merrimack, is charged with issuing bad checks.
7:30 p.m. — Haily Lynn Smith, 23, of Salem, is charged with bail jumping and contempt.
