SALEM, NH - The following are excerpts from the Salem Police Department Logs for Thursday, Apr. 12. and Friday, Apr. 13.
Thursday, Apr. 12
- Police were called to Salem Consignment after a customer handed the clerk a checkbook belonging to someone else. Police were able to contact the owner and return it.
- A caller reported someone wearing a black hoodie trying to enter a home on North Policy Street. According to police, the man lived in the home and locked himself out.
- A caller reported a theft from his work truck while he was at the Home Depot on South Broadway Street.
- A Melrose man was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing while at Chasers on Veterans Memorial Parkway. Michael James Pascal, 25, posted a $1,000 bail that night.
Friday, Apr. 13

- Police were called to South Broadway Street for a vehicle running without a driver at Salem Ford. The car was shut off by police and the keys were left in the store's bin.
- Police were called to Oakridge Avenue after a caller reported a minivan with its door open. Police checked it out and shut the door.
