SALEM, N.H. - Check out the most recent dispatch logs from the Salem Police Dept. for May 17 to 18.
- A caller on Millville Circle reported a driver in a small black car hit her stone wall and did not stop. According to the caller, the car's wheel well was left behind after the accident.
- A caller reported a wrong way driver on Veterans Memorial Parkway.
- A caller reported three men walking on Main Street, yelling at cars while openly drinking. Witnesses said the men were carrying an open case of Bud Light. Michael Anthony Fonseca, 28 of New Bedford, MA was arrested for consuming alcohol in public and resisting arrest. David Douglas Stridel, 28 of Providence, RI was arrested for consuming alcohol in public, resisting arrest and misuse of the 911 system. Police also arrested James A. Donnelly, 29, of New Bedford, MA for open container violation, resisting arrest and criminal mischief.
- A caller on Baldwin Street reported shots fired near his house. Police spoke to some kids and their mother on Ansel Street and advised them of the gun laws.
- A walk-in reported identity fraud after someone broke into his home and used his computer.
- John Chesna, 52, of Revere, MA turned himself in on an outstanding warrant for disorderly conduct.
- A caller reported a possible DWI at the Red Roof Inn. According to a report, the car was stopped near Lancelot Street.
Friday, May 18
- A caller reported a male slumped over in his car on Pelham Road. Police arrested William Lafferty, 25, of Derry, NH for driving an unregistered vehicle, open container violation and resisting arrest.
