Friday, May 25

  • A woman reported another patron to police after the other woman allegedly pushed a shopping cart into her car at Walmart.
  • Police arrested Lucas David Cook, 23, of Salem, NH for simple assault/domestic violence on Shadow Lake Road.
  • Police responded to Muse's trailer park on South Policy Street for a report of an overdose of a 49-year-old man.
  • Police were called to Cluff Crossing Road for a four car accident with two of the vehicles leaking fluid. Police reported one driver was transported to Holy Family and as many as three passengers suffered neck injuries.
  • A woman reported a vehicle followed her while she was driving on Lawrence Road. The caller said the other driver took a picture of her car as she was pulling into her driveway.
  • Police were called to North Main Street for an overdose. The subject survived with CPR.
  • An employee from T Mobile on Rockingham Park Boulevard reported a customer's phone was stolen off the counter at their store.

  • Police responded to School Street and Merrill Avenue for a drunk male.
  • The man was detained and released to a sober adult.
  • A caller at Westgate Arms Apartments reported a strong smell of marijuana in her building. Officers were unable to detect which apartment the odor was coming from.
  • An employee of Sunglass Hut on Rockingham Park Boulevard reported three Hispanic males stole 11 pairs of glasses totaling over $1,000.
  • Police responded to Macy's on Rockingham Park Boulevard for a call of shoplifting.
  • Police responded to Hedgehog Park on Lowell Road for a two car accident with injuries.

Sunday, May 27

  • Police closed down Main Street between Geremonty and Lawrence due to rain.
  • A caller reported someone opened a Best Buy credit card in their name without approval.
  • A cashier at R&J BP on Main Street reported he was scammed out of $200 over a $2 purchase.
  • A caller reported someone had taken money out of his account using Western Union.
  • Police were called to the 7-11 on Cluff Crossing road for a group of kids playing chicken with traffic.

  • Salem police received their first complaint regarding loud fireworks this year.
  • Police arrested Chelsey Sousa, 21, of Methuen, MA for an outstanding warrant for heroin possession, falsifying evidence and making a false report to law enforcement. Salem police said they were flagged down by management who reported a noise complaint coming from one of the rooms.
