Friday, May 18

  • Police arrested Robert Yitts, 48, of Monroe, CT for criminal trespassing, breach of bail and receiving stolen property after he was reported to be looking in vehicles on Raymond Avenue.
  • Police were called to Pools and Spas on South Broadway for an unwanted person. The caller reported the customer was being rude and refused to leave the store. Marie Garvey, 61, of Salem, NH was arrested for forgery.
  • Police were called too Citizens Bank on South Broadway Street after a customer threatened an assistant manager. According to police, it was the same woman, Marie Garvey, who had been arrested earlier.
  • Police were called to a two-car accident at the Macy's on Rockingham Park Boulevard.
  • Police arrested two shoplifters at the Macy's on Rockingham Park Boulevard. Kaitlyn Veator, 19 of Exeter, NH and Kaitlin Riley, 19, of Brentwood, NH were both arrested for willful concealment.
  • Police were called to the Walmart on North Broadway Street for a stolen wallet. According to a report, the wallet was found intact by an employee.
  • A caller at Speedway on North Broadway Street reported seeing two drivers of pick up trucks get out of their cars at a red light and start to fight each other.

  • A caller reported a hit and run on South Broadway Street. According to a report, the caller was hit by a driver who took off on Rt. 28 heading north.
  • A caller reported a driver slumped over the wheel in a red car on Route 93 South. State Police were called in to assist.

Sunday, May 20

  • Micahel Gladden, 32, of Brooklyn, NY was arrested for drug possession at the Walmart on N. Broadway Street after police received a report of a suspicious vehicle.
  • A man near the Tuscan Kitchen on Main Street flagged down an officer for a ride to Irving gas station.
  • Windham Police contacted Salem Police to ask if they could check the area near the Speedway on North Broadway Street. According to Windham Police, they received a 911 call for help from the man who had been picked up at the Irving gas station earlier in the night.
  • A man on Coburn Street reported his son came home drunk and was yelling. Police arrived and eventually found the man in the trees next to his home. According to police, he crawled out to officers.
  • A caller reported a Ryder truck knocked down wires on Cypress Street.
  • Police and fire were called to Friendship Drive for a trailer fully engulfed in flames.
  • Police were called to Zion Hill Road for a heroin overdose victim.
  • T-Bones management reported someone stole an employee's jacket.
  • Alyssa Madden, 29, of Hudson, NH was arrested at the World Market on South Broadway Street for an outstanding warrant.
  • Police were called to Kensington Place on Cluff Road for a missing person. According to police, a woman said her husband had been missing for an hour. He was located in the Market Basket parking lot.
