Salem's 4th Of July Fireworks Have Been Postponed
Salem's traditional Fourth of July events may be postponed but there are several other ways you can celebrate the holiday safely.
NASHUA, NH — July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the new coronavirus.
Many communities have been forced to cancel or postpone their annual Fourth of July events, including Salem. The Salem Board of Selectmen made the decision a few weeks ago.
Although Salem's fireworks and festivities have been postponed, there are other things to do in town.

Adventure Camp registrations have reopened for the week of July 9.
Currently, parks in town are closed, and the senior center is, too, although some events, like dance aerobics, were held outside the rec center earlier this week.

Canobie Lake Park is preparing to reopen on July 16. It is unknown at this time whether or not they will be hosting their fireworks displays will be held when they do reopen.
