Salem's Weekend Weather Forecast

The National Weather Service says New Hampshire will probably only have one good weekend weather day.

SALEM, NH - Call it the calm before the storm – literally.

Weather forecasters, including the crew at AccuWeather.com, suggest that Saturday is going to be the better of the two weather days this weekend, with sunny skies and highs in the lower 80s. Rain, according to the National Weather Service, will bracket the weekend, both on Friday and again on Sunday.

The rain on Sunday could get heavy at times: “Some communities in the mid-Atlantic and southern New England could be hit with strong wind gusts, hail and frequent lightning strikes,” according to Alex Sosnowski, a forecaster with AccuWeather.com.
