The Third Annual Night of Lights Held In Salem On Nov. 30

Enjoy displays, music by local students, and goodies from the Salem Police Department.

SALEM, NH — The Third Annual Night of Lights will be celebrated from 5 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 30, 2017, at the Field of Dreams on Geremonty Drive in Salem, according to a press statement. There will be many wonderful holiday photo opportunities with inflatable and stand up Christmas displays and free hot chocolate and other goodies handed out by the Salem Police Department Community Services Unit. There will be festive music sung and played by the Salem Elementary, Middle and High School chorus along with the Salem High School marching band.

There will also be plenty of characters roaming about including Pikachu, Olaf, Mario & Luigi, Yoshi, Rudolph and The Bumble, The Grinch and more! The big man himself - SANTA will be escorted in by the Salem Fire Department to light the 60 foot Christmas tree at 6:25 p.m.

The event is free for everyone attending. There will be a 50/50 raffle at the Salem Police tent if you would like a way to donate to help defray the cost of the event and win some holiday cash. Handicap parking will be at the Salem District Court across the street from the Field of Dreams.

A Salem Police Officer will be standing at the entrance to escort people across the street and check handicap placards/plates.

All other vehicles can park at the Salem High School, Kelly Library, or along Veteran's Memorial Parkway. Geremonty Drive will be closed to through traffic from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Only outgoing traffic and traffic travelling to the Salem High School from Main Street will be allowed. No traffic will be allowed to enter Geremonty Drive from Veteran's Memorial Parkway during this time
