Tuscan Kitchen To Offer Free Lunch To Veterans, 1 Guest Monday
Salem and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and Boston and Burlington, Massachusetts, locations will be closed in order to serve lunch to vets.

SALEM, NH — Tuscan Brands, which operates four Tuscan Kitchen locations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, will be closed for lunch on Monday in order to serve a complementary three-course lunch to veterans and active duty personnel. During the past nine years, the restaurant has served more than 17,000 guests as a way of saying, "Thank you," to those who serve. The kitchens will be serving veterans between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, at the 63 Main St. in Salem, NH, location, and 581 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, NH, as well as 64 Seaport Boulevard in Boston, MA, and 2400 District Avenue in Burlington MA.
All of the workers at Tuscan, including chefs and servers, donate their time toward the effort to "show their appreciation for these individuals’ valiant service to our country while giving them to an afternoon in Italy sans passport," according to Joe Faro, the CEO of the company.
Reservations can be made by calling the desired location directly and the reservations include one guest per veteran/active military personnel.
