Twin Peaks Actress Pamela Gidley Dead at 52

SALEM, NH - Twin Peaks actress and Salem, N.H. native Pamela Gidley recently passed away at her home in Seabrook at the age of 52. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Gidley was best known for her portrayal of Teresa Banks in the Twin Peaks prequel Fire Walk With Me.

Gidley was born in Methuen, Massachusetts on June 11, 1965, but grew up in Salem.

In her obituary, Gidley's family said Pam enrolled in her first dance recital at the age of three and at four years old she won "New England's Little Miss Lovely."

"She came in 12th in their national competition in Florida. She modeled for Jordan Marsh at age 6," the obit reads. "At 15 years old she was on her first of many magazine covers for Seventeen Magazine. Pamela competed in and won many beauty competitions including the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency "Most Beautiful Girl in the World."

Her acting career included parts in many movies including Thrashin', Twin Peaks, Fire Walk with Me and Cherry 2000. Also, she appeared in episodes of MacGyver, The Pretender, Tour of Duty, CSI and The Closer.
