Basking Ridge Artists Invited To Exhibit At Show
The deadline to register for township residents, age 16 and older, to exhibit in this non-juried show is Feb. 28.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Basking Ridge residents are being invited to show off their art work in the Community Art Show Inspired By Nature.
The show will run from March 21 through April 19 at the Somerset County Environmental Education Center, at 190 Lord Stirling Road in Basking Ridge.
The show will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The deadline to register for township residents, age 16 and older, to exhibit in this non-juried show is Feb. 28. The entry fee is $20 per artist. Space is limited.
Artist Entry Rules:

- Artists must be at least age 16 or older and reside in Bernards Township.
- Artists may list up to five pieces for display.
- Artwork previously entered may not be submitted.
- Artists are encouraged to select pieces inspired by nature, however it is not required.
- Artwork can include, but is not limited to, watercolors, oils, acrylics, photography, pastels, drawings, mixed media, and sculpture.
- Hanging artwork must be dry, wired and ready for hanging on drop off day. Frames should be sturdy and plexiglass is preferred over glass.
- Size limit per piece is approximately 32” x 40”, framed.
- If you are submitting 3D artwork, a table may be requested but is not guaranteed. You may provide your own stand.
- You may indicate your artwork is for sale on the Entry Form. Visitors will be given the contact information you provide, should they be interested in purchasing artwork.
- The Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to reject artwork for any reason.
- Artwork must be dropped off at the EEC on Friday, March 20 between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. or 3:30 and 4:30 p.m.
- Artwork must be picked up at the EEC on Monday, April 20 between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. or 3:30 and 4:30 p.m.
