Basking Ridge Memorial Day Service 2021: Starting Time

There may not be a parade but Bernards Township is still holding a service on Memorial Day.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — After more than a year of holiday and festival cancellations due to the coronavirus pandemic, Bernards Township's Memorial Day service is returning for 2021.

Liberty Corner Fire Company will host a Memorial Day ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on Monday (Memorial Day) at the Liberty Corner Green.

Bernards Township's fire and rescue companies, the Township Committee and clergy will participate in the ceremony. The event will be available for viewing at libertycornerfire.org.

The township canceled its larger May events — the Memorial Day parade and Charter Day — because of coronavirus protocols.
