Basking Ridge Men's 40-Plus Softball League Looking For Players
Ready to step up to the plate? The season will tentatively begin April 19 and run through June.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Now's your time to step up to the plate. The Basking Ridge men's 40-plus softball league is looking for athletes and teams.
Participants must be at least 40 years old by Dec. 31, according to Bernards Township Parks and Recreation. All games will take place on Bernards Township fields.

People can also sign up as an individual, with no fee required. You will be contacted if a team space becomes available. Every new participant must submit a copy of their driver's license.

Resident registration opened Friday. Non-residents can sign up beginning April 2.
The league is tentatively set to begin April 19. The regular season will consist of up to 14 games, barring rainouts. Each team is scheduled to play doubleheaders Sunday mornings.
Double-elimination playoffs are expected to begin June 7 with a tentative end date of June 27.
