Basking Ridge Movie Night Postponed Due To Weather

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Basking Ridge's Movie Night is being postponed due to expected thunderstorms.

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971, rated G) will be postponed to Thursday, July 18 and begins at dusk, around 8:30 p.m.

Other upcoming movie nights include:

• July 24: Incredibles 2 (PG)
• July 31: Jurassic World, Fallen Kingdom (PG-13)

There is a risk of severe weather Wednesday afternoon and evening with possible damaging wind gusts as a result of tropical storm Barry coming into the local area, according to the National Weather Service.

A flash flood warning is also in effect for the area from 2 p.m. into the evening as the storm brings the potential for heavy showers and thunderstorms.
