The new playground is anticipated to be open for use in spring 2020.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Pleasant Valley Park will be getting just under $150,000 worth of new playground equipment.

The Bernards Township Committee voted on Dec. 10 to approve the purchase of playground equipment from Marturano Recreation Company to replace the current equipment at the park, which is more than 20 years old.

The Game Time equipment would replace both the ages 2 to 5 and 5 to 12 units currently at the park.
