Basking Ridge Turkey Trot 5K And Health Walk On Nov. 12

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Basking Ridge Turkey Trot 5K and Health Walk will be held on Sunday, Nov. 12 at Mountain Park off Martinsville and Mountain roads in Basking Ridge.

The 5K course is USATF Certified. There will be professional race timing on the flat looped trail through the park, digital clocks, split times and printed race results provided and posted by CompuScore.

Check-in is 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. with the 1 mile Health Walk beginning at 9:30 a.m. and 5K Run at 10 a.m.

Pre-registration is $20 by Nov. 3 and $25 on race day. All entrants will pick up race packets on race day at the race site. T-shirts guaranteed to pre-registered runners and health walkers.

The race is Sponsored by the William Annin Middle School PTO to kick off the holiday season in a healthy way. Entrants and spectators are encouraged to bring non-perishable foods for donation to the Food Bank of Somerset County.

There will be awards given to the top overall male and female and top three runners in each age group in different age increments.
