No Surprises In Bernards Township Committee Primary Election
The Bernards Township Committee race was uncontested for the primary with 2 Republicans and 2 Democrats running.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The polls are closed and the unofficial votes for the uncontested Bernards Township Committee Primary Election have been tallied.
There were four candidates, two Republicans and two Democrats, vying for the two three-year township committee seats.

Here are the real-time unofficial results for Bernards Township Committee, according to Somerset County (* mark incumbents):
- Jennifer Asay - Republican - 1,486
- Andrew McNally* - Republican - 1,511
- Sophia Chadda - Democrat - 992
- Jessica Simpson-Cook - Democrat - 966
All four candidates will now run for the two township committee seats in the general election on Nov. 2. Currently, all but one committee member on the Bernards Township Committee are Republican.
