There's still a chance to prepare for flu season. Flu shots will be available next Wednesday.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — There's still a chance to prepare for flu season. The Bernards Township Health Department will provide flu shots from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Bernards Township Community Center (289 S. Maple Ave.).

Flu shots are available for ages 4 and up. No appointments are needed, but the health department recommends consulting your doctor before getting a shot.

The quadrivalent vaccines cost $25 for residents and $35 for nonresidents. They're free with a valid Medicare Part B card. Wear a face covering to the clinic.
