Bernards Township To Host First 'Meet The Mayor' Event
At May 10's event, members of Basking Ridge's Asian American community will discuss past experiences and future plans.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Bernards Township's will soon begin its "Meet the Mayor Series." The monthly events will feature guest speakers and a question-and-answer portion with Mayor Janice Fields.
The first meeting takes place at 7 p.m. May 10 in the Warren Craft Meeting Room of the Municipal Building (1 Collyer Ln., Basking Ridge). For Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, members of Basking Ridge's Asian American community will share future plans, past experiences and ways to build a united community.
Attendees will include representatives from the Ridge High School Chinese Culture Club, the Basking Ridge branch of the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the U.S. and the Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce Interns Club.

"Meet the Mayor" meetings will occur on the second Monday of each month.
