Bernards Township Schools Closed Tomorrow for Blizzard
All schools in the district will be closed Tuesday, as the two-day blizzard is expected to dump more than a foot of snow on the area.
The Bernards Township school district has announced that all public schools in the district will be closed tomorrow, due to the blizzard set to dump up to two feet of snow on the township. Here’s a list of schools in the area that will be closed tomorrow due to the snow.

Basking Ridge is under a Blizzard watch from Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening, as more than a foot of “heavy blowing snow” is predicted to hit the state, the National Weather Service reports.

By Monday night, Basking Ridge could see 8 inches of new snow accumulation, with an additional three to five inches falling on Tuesday. According to the NWS,much of the state will see blizzard conditions and one to two feet of snow.
Governor Chris Christie today declared a state of emergency Monday as winter storm with tropic-storm-force winds began to fall in New Jersey. Power companies are warning residents that strong winds may bring down power lines and tree limbs.
