Bernards Twp. Free Rabies Clinic Canceled Due To Coronavirus
The Bernards Township rabies clinic was set for January.
BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Bernards Township free rabies clinic has been canceled because of coronavirus concerns, according to officials. The clinic was set for Jan. 9.
The township typically offers two free rabies clinics per year, according to the Bernards Township Health Department. All dogs and cats must get licensed every year by Jan. 31 and have proof of rabies vaccination through the end of the year.
The Somerset County Health Department has reported 469 cases and 42 coronavirus deaths in Bernards Township since the pandemic began.
