Ridge High School’s AP Studio Art class will present “Birds of a Feather”, an exhibit of large scale drawings and paintings at the Environmental Education Center (EEC), 190 Lord Stirling Road, Basking Ridge, NJ from Saturday, February 8 to Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. The EEC will be closed Lincoln’s Birthday and President’s Day.

With the number of birds in the United States and Canada having fallen by 29 percent since 1970, Ridge High School AP Studio Art class students are bringing attention to the issue by exploring the relationships of structure, pattern, and form of birds for large-scale drawings and paintings. Students from National Art Honors Society and Social Skills Club collaborated on larger than life size sculptures presented in the exhibit. The students pushed the concept of “Birds” in a unique format, experimenting with materials to yield a truly remarkable presentation. The exhibit is free.

A reception will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.. (Snow date: February 13, 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.)
