Crash Causes Lane Closure on I-287 South In Harding Twp.

No injuries were reported in the single-vehicle crash.

HARDING TOWNSHIP, NJ — A single-vehicle crash caused a lane closure on Interstate 287 South on Tuesday afternoon in Harding Township. Two lanes remained open.

The crash occurred at 12:17 p.m. Tuesday at milepost 32 — north of Exit 30 to North Maple Avenue in Harding Township. The accident closed off the left lane.

No injuries were reported, State Police Trooper Alejandro Goez told Patch.

Officials warned people to drive carefully and leave early for destinations Tuesday because of snow and freezing rain in the forecast. The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory in 11 counties, including Somerset, which lasts until 4 a.m. Wednesday.
