Daycare With Adult Workspace, Fitness Center Opening In Gladstone
The Haven Collection first opened in Rhode Island to try and reduce parents' commutes. It's expanding to Somerset County.

GLADSTONE, NJ — A new kind of daycare is coming to Somerset County. The Haven Collection in Gladstone will also offer a co-working space and fitness center to accommodate parents and guardians.
The Haven Collection is the parent company of the Coggeshall Club — the nation's first licensed daycare to offer unlimited co-working and fitness spaces to member families, according to a news release. The company opened in Rhode Island in 2019, setting to eliminate commutes to and from daycare, work and the gym.

The childcare program offers flexible scheduling, which lets members scale up and down as needed, without a weekly minimum or set schedule required. Parents can choose to have their children attend daycare for 2.5 to 5 days a week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Workspace amenities include a conference table, printers, Wi-Fi, coffee, tea and snacks. The office also has a large window, where parents can see their child play outside. The fitness area contains spin bikes and classes streamed by Peleton, as well as in-person yoga, Pilates and strength training.

A wellness suite contains access to massages, physical therapy, reflexology, reiki, life and career coaching, and parent support groups.
The Gladstone location will hire 15 full- and part-time employees, including head and assistant teachers for infants through preschool. Hiring will begin in early May. Click here for job info.
