Downed Tree, Power Outages Reported In Basking Ridge
As of 7 a.m. on Thursday Hardscrabble Road is closed between Butternut Lane and Old Army Road for a tree that fell down onto power lines.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Downed trees, road closures and power outages are being reported in the Basking Ridge area after heavy rain and high winds came through the township on Wednesday night.
As of 7 a.m. on Thursday Hardscrabble Road is closed between Butternut Lane and Old Army Road for a tree that fell down onto power lines, Bernards Township Police said.
JCP&L is also reporting a total of 171 power outages in Basking Ridge and the surrounding area including Bernardsville, Bedminster, Far Hills, Peapack and Gladstone, Warren, Branchburg and Hillsborough.
