• Washington House Restaurant, 55 S Finley Ave., Basking Ridge: The American restaurant has a 4.4 rating. "Love, love, love this place. Met up with a friend for lunch. We end up staying for couple of hours. Lovely, lovely place. Good food, great service, perfect location. Sunny and welcoming ambiance. I can't wait to go back again," said a reviewer.

Nowadays, very few places use the massive griddle well, but this place is an exception. I ordered the Breakfast Crisp. It's eggs, home fries, and meat (I chose bacon) with melted cheese in a tortilla. It came looking like a quesadilla, but it was wonderful. Not a droplet of grease," said a reviewer.

I always go for breakfast, the sweet potato waffle and fried chicken is awesome. You can't go wrong with the salmon and grits either," said a reviewer.
