Farmstead Arts presents “Gems Found on New York City Buses”

A virtual exhibit featuring the colored pencil art of Dave Clark.

(Dave Clark)

Farmstead Arts, located in Basking Ridge, is pleased to showcase a collection of colored pencil drawings created and captioned by Dave Clark of Bedminster, New Jersey, in a virtual solo show entitled “Gems Found on New York City Buses”.

The show will run online at www.farmsteadartscenter.org through February 28.

While working and commuting in New York City over the years, Clark saw riders on city buses and captured their images in colored pencil. He added captions that reflect what he thought they may have been thinking. Each portrait tells a story – silly, sleepy, sad or happy – and gives the viewer a glimpse into everyday life.
