How Much Snow Did Somerset County Get This Weekend?

It seems as though winter packed a punch this weekend bringing snow on Friday through Sunday. Check out the totals recorded by the NWS.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — It seems as though winter packed a punch this weekend bringing snow on Friday through Sunday. But how much did Somerset County get? Check out the totals recorded by the National Weather Service.

Sunday's snow was wet and heavy bringing as much as 9.2 inches in Cedar Grove in Essex County followed by 8.8 in both Haworth in Bergen County and also in Jefferson Township in Morris County.

Somerset County didn't see as much with the highest recorded in Basking Ridge with 5.8 inches, followed by 5.6 inches in Bridgewater and 4.3 inches in Somerset.

Saturday also brought a good amount of snow with the most being recorded in Union Township in Union County with 5.2 inches.

  • Neshanic Station 3.8 in
  • Bridgewater 3.3 in
  • Somerville 3.0 in
  • Somerset 3.0 in

Friday didn't hit nearly as hard with only as high as four inches recorded in Ocean City in Cape May County.

Somerset County towns had even less with one inch in Basking Ridge, .7 inch in Bridgewater and .5 inch in Branchburg.
