Kelsey Grammer Stops By The Liberty Corner Fire Company

Before reprising his famous role as bar patron and radio host Fraser Crane, Kelsey Grammer dropped by Liberty Corner.

LIBERTY CORNER, NJ — Before reprising his famous role as bar patron and radio host Frasier Crane, Kelsey Grammer dropped by town. Although it's been years since Cheers and Fraser dominated the airwaves, the Liberty Corner firehouse is yet another place where everybody knows his name.

The actor visited the Liberty Corner Fire Company last week, but it wasn't such a random occurrence. Fire Company member Tom Castronovo works in marketing for Grammer, and the actor is a big supporter of volunteer firefighters, according to Chief Carl Blanchard.

Grammer was born in the Virgin Islands, but he spent part of his childhood in New Jersey. He will reprise his role as Frasier on streaming service Paramount+, ViacomCBS announced in February. The revival is set for a 2022 release.
