Liberty Corner Tennis Courts To Be Improved

The improvements will include new fencing, new gates, new striping, installing a crack repair system to the court surface and more.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Liberty Corner Tennis Courts will be getting a face-lift as the Bernards Township Committee voted to formally approve the plans at the Aug. 29 meeting.

The improvements will include new fencing, new gates, new striping, installing a crack repair system to the court surface and then installing a new synthetic mat surface over the existing asphalt court.

The new plans were drawn up by Thomas Timko, township engineer. Bids are currently being collected for the proposed project and the awarded bidder will be announced at a future committee meeting.
