Money Stolen From 3 Shops In Basking Ridge's Riverwalk Mall: Cops
Bernards Twp. police are seeking a male suspect who they say stole from Soup Shoppe, O'Bagel & Deli and Supercuts.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A suspect stole from three businesses early Tuesday morning in Riverwalk Village in Basking Ridge, according to Bernards Township police. The unknown male went to a back hallway and forced open the service door at each establishment, authorities said.
The burglaries took place around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday in the shopping center at 665 Martinsville Rd., according to Det. Lt. Jon Burger. The person stole about $800 from the register at Soup Shoppe, around $200 from O'Bagel & Deli, and $1 and a Dr. Pepper from Supercuts, police said.
The suspect is a white or Hispanic male, who wore dark clothing, a sweatshirt with a hood around his head and a face mask, police said.

He entered the main area of the mall through an unsecured front door to the common area, Burger said. Then he proceeded to a door that led him to the back hallway, where he forced his way into each business's service entrance, authorities said.
Police are reviewing surveillance footage from the Riverwalk building, each store and evidence recovered from the scene.
