More eateries in Basking Ridge are open than Mother's Day last year, but it's a good idea to reserve a spot now.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Everything Mom has done over the past year of the coronavirus pandemic should add up to an extra-special 2021 Mother's Day celebration on Sunday, May 9. To start her the day off right, how about taking Mom to her favorite brunch spot around Basking Ridge?

At this time last year, New Jerseyans couldn't even eat at a restaurant — outdoor dining reopened June 15. While restaurants still have restrictions, including 50 percent indoor capacity, options are less limited than last Mother's Day.

And if you're still undecided about going to a sit-down restaurant, curbside pickup or delivery is an option in many places.
