BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Guddia Singh was unanimously chosen by the Bernards Township Board of Education to fill an open seat.
Singh, a mother of three, a chef and wellness executive was selected out of four candidates including Nimish Amin, Carl Bird and Titus George.
"When my family was househunting some 5 years ago we were drawn to Basking Ridge because of the awesome school system. My husband and I grew up in loving, education-focused communities and we only wanted to have that experience for our children as well. Moving to Basking Ridge and living in this town for the past 5 years has proven to us we have made the right choice," said Singh during her statement at the Monday night BOE meeting.
